Rehabilitation on the Beach

These individual sessions take place at the King Edwards Beach in Tynemouth and are especially designed for people who have suffered sport injuries such as ligament and muscle tears and who plan to go back into competition.

This more intense approach could follow on towards the end of the rehabilitation program to ensure an optimal return to performance.

The soft ground of the beach absorbs shock and at the same time develops more coordination and strength.

The exercises are chosen to replicate the movements and situations specific to the athlete’s discipline and aim to prepare him/her for a complete and successful return to competition.

Shower facilities after the sessions are available.
