Achilles & heel problems
Achilles tendonitis and heel problems: inflammation of the tendon of the big calf muscles and inflammation of the point of attachment of the fascia in the sole of the foot to the calcaneus (heel bone), causing pain and localised tenderness of the heel.
Physiotherapy can help to reduce the tension on the tendon with massage, stretching, deep frictions and stabilising exercises for the ankle. Biomechanical assessments, foot exercises, strapping, electrotherapy and shock re-absorber will help to solve the plantar fasciitis problem.
