Reflexology – an effective alternative for hay fever sufferers
Its coming to that time of year again when most of us are looking forward to the sunshine & smell of freshly cut grass, unfortunately for hay fever suffers this can be the most miserable time of year.
When pollen enters the body of a hay fever sufferer their immune system thinks it’s under attack and releases a chemical called histamine and they get very similar symptoms to a cold.
Reflexology can help by supporting the immune & respiratory system, which helps to reduce the effects & severity of the hay fever symptoms.
Working with these areas and the adrenal gland reflex points, on the feet, it can help to reduce the inflammation and helps you to start to breathe more easily. It also increases blood flow, circulation of oxygen and nutrients around the body as well as eliminating toxins.
